www.hmml.org - This is the website for the Hill Monastic Manuscript Library at St. John's University in Minnesota. This Benedictine university is the home of the Malta Study Center, possibly the preeminent research facility dedicated to the history of the Order of Malta.
www.saintjohn.org - This web site is published by the Historiographer of the Venerable Order of St. John. Provides excellent description of the allied orders of Saint John and a full discussion of the false orders.

Rare Books
One of the outstanding collections of materials relating to the history of the Order is the Order of Malta Collection of the Mullen Library of The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC. The collection is a part of the library's rare books department and may be viewed only by making an appointment with the curator of the Rare Books Department.
